Drive that does not give up.
TRE 4x4 started with one thing — differential lockers — and built everything around them: portal axles, winches, suspension, bumpers and expedition gear. This is that whole catalogue, in one place.

Start with what you drive
A locker is matched to an axle, not to a model — and the same model was often built with two different axles. Pick a make and we will show what we have confirmed.
Or go straight to a section
If you already know what you are looking for, this is quicker.
Differential lockers
Air, electric or Crab — and why that is not a matter of taste.
Portal axles
Ground clearance you cannot buy any other way — with the conditions it imposes.
Recovery
The TED Pro winch, snatch blocks, ropes, straps and the recovery kit.
Air systems
Compressors, tank and gauge. Without air an air locker does nothing.
Protection
Alpha bumpers, snorkels, side steps and bed liners.
Suspension
Nitrogen shocks, coilovers and bump stops — with the mandatory 500 km check.
Overlanding
Roof tents, awnings, fridges, drawers, racks and lighting.
A locker turns two wheels into one
An open differential sends torque where resistance is lowest — which is the wheel hanging in the air. A locker ties the half-shafts together and the torque goes back to the wheel that has grip. This is not a comfort upgrade; it is the difference between driving on and standing still.
Air
Closed by compressed air. It needs a compressor — not as an option but as a condition of working at all. The manufacturer recommends it for hot climates.
Electric
Closed by an electromagnet. No compressor, no air lines. The manufacturer recommends it for cold climates.
Crab Locker
No seal housing assembly, which removes the most common failure of air lockers — loss of pressure. It costs more.
The manufacturer publishes no fitment table for its lockers. Not in the catalogue, not on the website, not in the distributor material. What you see on this site comes from the product pages in our shop and is the only verified fitment that exists. For a vehicle outside that list the axle has to be checked — write to us and we will do it together.
From the axle to the roof tent
TRE grew from a maker of drivetrain components into a brand that builds almost everything you can bolt to a 4x4. The photograph below is one vehicle: bumper, bull bar, snorkel, light bars, bed rack and side steps — all from a single catalogue.

Drivetrain
Differential lockers, portal axles and ZeonTek fabricated axles.
Recovery
Winches, snatch blocks, ropes, boards and recovery kits.
Expedition
Roof tents, awnings, compressor fridges, drawers and lighting.
What you will not find on this site
Because the manufacturer has not published it, and inventing technical data ends badly for the customer and for us.
Type approval
TRE claims none — no TÜV, no ECE, no E-mark. It holds ISO 9001 and TS 16949 quality-system certificates, but those are not product road approval.
Spline counts
Not stated anywhere in the locker material. Yet that, together with the axle type, is what decides the fit. So we ask for it when you order.
Weights and ratings
Bumpers, roof racks and tents carry no published weights. With a tent that is the first thing you need — a roof has a limit.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find out which axle my vehicle has?
Usually from the tag on the axle housing or from the VIN — many models were built with different axles in different years, and on a Jeep the Dana 30 / Dana 35 / Dana 44 difference changes everything.
If you are not sure, photograph the axle housing and count the bolts on the cover. Send that with the VIN and we will tell you what fits before you order anything.
Air or electric?
The manufacturer gives one hint outright: it recommends the electric locker for cold places and the air locker for hot ones.
Beyond that, the installation decides. An air locker needs a compressor and air lines — if you want a compressor for your tyres anyway, that is an argument for it. An electric locker needs nothing but power, but the manufacturer warns that it unlocks when you change direction and re-locks after about a quarter of a wheel turn. In the mountains, changing direction on a climb, that can be dangerous.
Does a TRE locker have type approval?
No. The manufacturer claims no road type approval — no TÜV, no ECE, no E-mark. It holds ISO 9001 and TS 16949 certificates, but those cover how production is organised, not whether a part is approved for road use.
We say this plainly because the trade often does not. What it means for your own roadworthiness test is for the inspector to decide, not us.
How long is the warranty?
It depends on the product group: 5 years on lockers, 3 years on winches, 2 years on compressors, 1 year on suspension and accessories, 1 year on camping equipment. Fridges get one year on components and 3 years on the SECOP compressor.
Suspension carries one extra condition: a mandatory check 500 km after fitting. Without it the warranty lapses.
What is a portal axle and does it make sense on the road?
A portal axle sets the half-shaft above the wheel centre, so the whole axle hangs higher off the ground. You gain clearance no lift can buy you, because a lift raises the body, not the axle.
The price is concrete: track width grows by 15–20 cm per side, and you need a 4.5-inch lift, 17-inch wheels at ET+50 and 35–40-inch tyres. This is an off-road vehicle that drives on the road, not the other way round.
Do I buy from you or import it myself?
From us — Szekla4x4.pl is the main TRE 4x4 distributor for Poland and appears on the manufacturer's own distributor list. Goods ship from Warsaw, the invoice is an EU one and we handle warranty claims.
The manufacturer has branches in China, Australia and the USA. Importing on your own means taking on duty, customs clearance and a warranty claim across half the world.
Not sure what fits your vehicle?
Send the make, model, year and — if you know it — the axle type. You get a straight answer, including when the answer is that TRE has nothing sensible for that vehicle.
